Children's Therapy Center

 

Provides: Early Intervention services of home-based therapy and education services. Early Intervention services are provided for children ages birth-3 years.  Center-based physical, occupational, speech-language based therapy and associated programs. Center-based services are provided for children age birth-18 years.

 

Serves: Early Intervention serves fourteen school districts in South King and Pierce Counties. Including children at Joint Base Lewis-McCord.  Center-based serves any child at one of their four centers.

Boyer Children's Clinic

 

Provides: Early Intervention services for children ages birth – 3 years, both in the home and on-site from two locations, at Montlake and Magnuson Park.  Early Intervention services include physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies, as well as specialized focus groups in the areas of vision, oral feeding, and parenting plans. Boyer also provides early childhood special education, family resources coordination, social work, medical consultation, and nurse services as part of Early Intervention. They also have a developmental pediatrician on staff who is a designated Center of Excellence for autism spectrum diagnosis. 


Boyer offers a broad range of support services for the family, which include group and individual couples counselling, as well as fathers and mothers support groups.  Boyer provides Tiny Stars (early education for children 10 – 20 months) and CHERISH for foster families. They also offer Boyer CONNECT for families facing homelessness, and are the “host site” for the Seattle Developmental Bridge Program (for children up to 47 months).

Serving: Seattle proper, reaching Shoreline to the north, White Center to the south, Mercer Island to the east, and Vashon Island to the west.

Outdoors For All

Mission: To enrich the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through outdoor recreation. Transforming lives through outdoor recreation. 

 

Provides: Outdoor recreation for children and adults with disabilities. The use of assistive devices along with the care of volunteers and staff make recreational activities possible for all abilities. 

 

Outdoors for All programs can be joined as an individual, in some cases with your family, or organize as a custom group.

 

Outdoors for All has recreation activities such as snowboarding, downhill skiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, yoga, kayaking, rock climbing, cycling/biking, day camps, weekend excursions and military programs.

Kindering

 

Provides: An array of Early Intervention therapies and services supporting infants and toddlers with developmental delays, ages birth to three. Early Intervention services also include support for the entire family through family education, sibling support, and a statewide fathers network. Therapy services are performed in the home or the child’s natural learning environment. Kindering also provides options for therapy on-site at one of their four campuses, as well as classes and social events for children and parents, contributing to a sense of community among families.

The KidsClinic at Kindering provides private therapy options for children ages birth through 10 years who qualify for physical, occupational, or speech therapy.

Life Opportunities for People with Disabilities

 

Provides: Services to help people with disabilities fulfill their life choices. Through employment services, helping people find jobs that work for them. Assistive technology, finding solutions to help people with mobility and communication. A therapy clinic, providing therapy for children beginning at six years old. Community living programs, helping people live more independently while remaining under 24-hour care. Provail offers a wide range of services to support people with even the most severe disabilities, in all major areas of life.

Ecompass

Provides: Early Intervention in-home services for children birth -3 years. Through speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, developmental education and resources coordination.

 

Encompass also provides Early Learning in North Bend, Carnation, Duvall and Issaquah, where children learn through play. Through play, they are free to discover - building creative expression and social problem solving. Early Learning begins at 12 months and runs until five years of age. 

 

Encompass provides family enrichment with support, information, and tools for families to strengthen relationships.  Family Enrichment includes support groups for parents, caregivers, and older siblings, along with workshops and sessions with discussions around parenting topics.  

 

Encompass works with children birth-8 years at the Pediatric Therapy Clinic location in North Bend. There, children experience physical, speech and language, feeding and social skills, among others. They also provide behavioral health services for children birth -8 years and their caregivers, who are experiencing struggle. 

 

Serves: The school districts of Riverview, Snoqualmie Valley, and Issaquah. Encompass services also extend to Snoqualmie Pass Summit, along with availability in Skykomish.
